| This is so true. I have a small Dove Release business in Las Vegas. I do dove releases for Weddings, memorials and special occasions, and have always wanted a billboard. People love my service, and the fact that the doves fly home to a safe location. I recently contacted an outdoor ad firm that does ad's at bus stops. They found just the locations I was looking for and is far more affordable for me. I am in the process of geting them placed and am very optimistic that I can get the word out. Cathy |

| The BEST item to sell is what YOU have a hard time finding and it doesn't have to cost a fortune! I'm an Artist and own Yorkies!I LOVE Yorkie Cards, etc but I could'nt find THE Cards in stores! I NEEDED some nice Thank You Cards but could not find them! 'Necessity being the Mother of Invention', I made use of my Artwork of Yorkies & other Dogs I have done over years and create the EXACT Cards I was searching for! I have added other breeds of Dogs too & I hope to soon have all Dog Breeds represented. If your product is something YOU have been searching for, chances are your Customer is out there looking too! | It would be great if we all had a Business Plan gene in our makeup, or a Marketing Plan gene, but we don't. Of all the components of a startup however, the one that seems to offer the most traction is to go beyond the 'romance' of the idea to whatever pragmatic consideration of a Business and Marketing Plan can bring to bear. The very process of 'filling in the blanks' will help to focus on the strengths and weaknesses of an idea or marketing concept. That's where the real opportunity to begin occurs. Better to realistically decide that some component is lacking-say capital to do the job right- than invest all the sweat equity and home equity in an idea whose time has not come. I I neglected to add that SCORE,reachable through www.sba.gov, or a search for 'free business plan templates' will get anyone started. Most are PDF, easily downloadable, and truly help to focus on the important things. |

| I believe that is really true, however I have found that in the market today , which is far more competive, You must find the Price inwhich sells your item as well as looks and marketing. I am the third Largest Primitive Sign Stencil Company In the World, with over 200 Different designs. I work solely from my home and ship world wide daily.
