Investors will still invest and this is the perfect time for entreprenuers to demonstrate yet another important challenge, reacting to the most severe of challenges. Many entrepnuers are able to have a great vision, and many can easily add staff when thrown a few million dollars. Managing growth with efficiency is sometimes an equal challenge to reacting to loosing valuable employees. Yes, this economy is a challenge, but everyone is in the same boat. The winners will position themselves to weather the storm and be ready to seize rapid growth as soon as the rebound occurs. I just won a DELL TOP 10 INNOVATOR award for the repair and remodeling sector and never thought I would be challenged for early stage VC support, yet we continue to add customers on a shoe string budget and position ourselves for when the right VC will provide the adrenaline shot we are rightfully ready for.
