Good advice. I would add one thing. If you are new to business (and even if you are not), find a mentor. Find someone you trust who you can bounce decisions off of before you make them. Don't use someone you report to or who reports to you. Go outside the company; perhaps find a mentor in a business association you join or even a family member who has had a successful career in business.

Good Advise, the article pretty much sums it up. The only thing that I will add is be disiplined and work at it. It wont work itself.
