| The cost of social media can vary based on the approach you choose take. From DIY, hiring a staff person or contracting out to a social media firm will help you determine the cost factor. One very important factor to consider is with the DIY option. It can be very appealing but you must consider what your time is worth and should you be spending that time on other business areas. I would encourage businesses to investigate the contracting option or hiring an internal staff person who can focus their time on these efforts to maximize the payoff. And what is the payoff?
