smSmallBiz.com - SmartMoney's Small Business Site

smSmallBiz: About Us

smSmallBiz -- SmartMoney Magazine's Small Business site

smSmallBiz takes a fresh approach to covering small business, focusing on the entrepreneur as a quick-thinking risk-taker who can turn a passion for a product or a service into a thriving business. It is the destination site for today's entrepreneurs.

Regular columns focus on the rewards and challenges of running your own show, including "Balancing Work & Life," which advises entrepreneurs on tricky issues such as taking a vacation or dealing with illness or spending time with family, and "Starting Up," which follows entrepreneurs through the early stages of launching a business.

Each month, our streaming-video reports, SmartMoney TV, focuses on a special topic of interest to business owners, whether that's raising capital or dealing with disaster. We also pay special attention to women and minorities, who currently make up the fastest-growing subset of entrepreneurs.

smSmallBiz.com is produced by SmartMoney Magazine, a joint venture of Hearst SM Partnership and Dow Jones & Company. Editorial partners include Entrepreneur Magazine, The Wall Street Journal Online's Small Business and AllBusiness.com.
